Here are some new photos of Lady Gaga doing an in-store appearance in a NYC Best Buy. Because we really, really needed some Gaga cooch this morning. This outfit makes Raccoon McPantless look like a poseur (which she is, honestly). This outfit is so… inappropriate. It actually gave me a little bit of hope that the old Gaga is back – the Gaga with the sense of humor. The Gaga that isn’t a crazy coke monster. While wildly inappropriate, this outfit is rather funny. At some point, I think Gaga just gave up on the crazy costumes and she’s just doing budget stripper-wear now.
Anyway, Born This Way has officially come out and while it’s selling well, it’s not really meeting the “Second Coming of Jesus” sales some had predicted. The NYDN theorizes that because Gaga has pretty much been promoting this album for five months already, the actual album release is kind of anticlimactic.
To promote the official release of the album, Gaga went on The Late Show last night. David was nice to her and Gaga seemed pretty game for whatever. She did have this BS to say about her dumb egg thing: “It’s a place where I can meditate and experience rebirth, so I just get inside of it and close it, and then when I feel that I have been reborn spiritually, I just, whoo, come out.” I haven’t watched the whole thing, but she seems kind of cute in the parts I’ve seen:
