The trailer for Jennifer Aniston’s latest movie has just been released, and it’s not bad at all. Of course, I prefer the original adaptation of this story, which was Ruthless People (God, I love Bette Midler). But Life of Crime tells the story in a more Elmore Leonard-ish way (it’s an adaptation of one of his novels). Jennifer is part of an ensemble that includes Tim Robbins, the always-brilliant John Hawkes, Will Forte, Isla Fisher and Yasiin Bey (previously known as Mos Def). Yasiin looks like the standout to me, and I love Hawkes in everything he does. Isla looks great, and I think the early ‘80s styling (??) really works on Aniston, although there does seem to be an emphasis on “Aniston is not the star, she’s part of the ensemble.” Here’s the trailer:
I wouldn’t see this in theaters, but I would watch it on TV. Okay, I might see at the dollar theater.
In other Aniston news, Radar says that she’s trying to lose weight before the wedding. I guess we’re supposed to be judging her on the set photos from Cake, but I swear to God, I think she’s wearing padding in that film. I’m guessing she still has the same yoga-toned body she’s always had.
Jennifer Aniston has one of the best bodies in Hollywood, but she wants to drop an extra 10 pounds before her wedding to Justin Theroux, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
“No way is Jen getting married at this weight,” a source close to the star told Radar. “She’ll lose another ten pounds before she’ll walk down the aisle.”
Aniston, 45, and Theroux, 42, got engaged in August 2012 and fans have been wondering ever since when the wedding will take place. As Radar previously reported, sources said Theroux has suggested having an alcohol-free affair, they definitely want to have the “funniest Hollywood wedding ever.” But now there’s a new stumbling block as the actress has vowed to lose weight first.
“Jen’s besties, including Chelsea Handler and Courteney Cox, have been informed of Jen’s weight loss plan and support it,” the source added. “Which, sounds terrible, but is absolutely how Jen operates among her peer group.”
Don’t most brides want to lose weight before their weddings? I don’t know, it just seems like an obvious tabloid story. I’m including some pics of Justin Theroux on his bike yesterday in NYC too. It seems like they’ve been in separate cities for most of this year. Huh. Ten bucks says Clooney walks down the aisle before Theroux.
