Jeff Goldblum is a first-time father! Jeff, 62, married his much-younger bride Emilie Livingston, 32, last November. By January, they announced they were expecting – it was the first child for both. And now Emilie has given birth to a boy – ON INDEPENDENCE DAY!!! It’s sort of perfect, right? The name: Charlie Ocean Goldblum. Look at the little guy!
This is going to be quite the kid. Jeff Goldblum and wife Emilie Livingston have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy they’ve named Charlie Ocean Goldblum.
“We’re so excited to share the wonderful news of the birth of our son, Charlie Ocean Goldblum, born on the 4th of July. Independence Day,” the star of the—what do you know?!—upcoming Independence Day: Resurgence posted on Facebook Tuesday.
It’s too perfect that Emilie gave birth on the Fourth. It’s crazy. As for the name… Jeff gave some previews of the name without giving a solid confirmation, and I think we did know that “Charlie” was a contender. I don’t really have strong feelings about naming a kid Charlie instead of Charles – I think it might be fine? I have qualms about the combo of “Charlie” and “Ocean”. It makes the kid sound like you’re already setting him up to be a surfer. What if he wants to be a Star Trek nerd?
