Yeah, I’ve gotten a taste for writing about the train wreck that is Courtney Stodden now. Usually I avoided her like the plague, but my God… her freakshow bolt-ons really make this whole travesty come together, right? These are photos of Courtney out to dinner with her husband in Beverly Hills on Friday night. Courtney – who is only 19 years old, apparently! – wore this blue pleather dress which… I mean, I guess the dress was made for her proportions? I’ve worn pleather (or “PVC”) before – I used to have a pair of rock-n-roll pleather pants for partying (back in my youth). Pleather is unforgiving. There is no stretch with pleather. You squeak when you walk. But my point is that these kinds of tube dresses aren’t mass produced for super-skinny famewhores with gigantic circus implants – I really think this dress was made for her. And that’s sad.
Note Courtney’s collar too. That’s on purpose. She’s trying a new thing, I guess, where her image is going to be as a professional submissive, willing to be “chained” I guess. While she was in England for Celebrity Big Brother, she did a photoshoot with photographer Nick Knight. Nick Knight is sort of a big deal – he’s most famous for his rock n’ roll images of people like Lady Gaga (he’s photographed Gaga for many magazines) and he’s also done photoshoots with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Kate Moss and more. What I’m saying is that he’s legitimate. He’s a legit fashion photographer, hired by major magazines. And he just did a photoshoot with Courtney! Apparently, it had an “S&M” theme – Nick Instagram’d some photos with the message: “The very delightful and beautiful Courtney Stodden for my story #powershift at SHOWstudio earlier today.” You can see the images here, I’m including two.
