I kept forgetting that Anne Hathaway was pregnant, which just shows you how low-key she was throughout this pregnancy. At long last, our Annie has learned how to “go away” for a while. It’s a good skill for a celebrity to have. Anyway, I thought Anne looked “ready to pop” on Oscar weekend, so it’s no surprise that she was probably eight months pregnant at the time. Anne and her husband Adam Shulman welcomed their first child this week. She had a little boy! I really thought she was having a girl, damn it. My baby predicting mojo is off.
And a baby makes three! Anne Hathaway has given birth to her first child with husband Adam Shulman. The two welcomed a baby boy named Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman early on March 24 in Los Angeles, E! News has learned exclusively. Anne’s rep also confirmed the exciting news.
“The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in L.A.,” a source said. “Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents.”
Jonathan Shulman sounds normal, like a doctor or a lawyer. Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman sounds like Marxist screenwriter in the Golden Age of Hollywood, only the studio would have changed his name to Jonny Rose. Anyway, I figured “Rosebanks” was some kind of family name, but of course Annie wouldn’t just go with one simple family name, it had to be a family-name portmanteau. According to E! News, “Anne’s paternal grandfather was named Roseline, while Adam’s mother’s maiden name was Banks. To add to the mix, Adam’s middle name is also Banks.” Sigh…in any case, congrats to Anne and Adam and baby Jonny Rosebanks.
